What are Telegram Accounts?

Telegram accounts are the Telegram phone numbers or sessions you connect to Reach to send messages through campaigns. You need at least one connected account to send messages.

Account Information

Basic Details

Each account shows:
  • Phone Number: Associated phone number
  • Username: Telegram username (if available)
  • Session Name: Internal session identifier
  • Profile Picture: Account profile picture
  • Status: Connection status (Connected/Disconnected)
  • Created Date: When account was added

Connection Status

Connected:
  • Account is healthy and connected
  • Can send messages
  • Ready for campaigns
  • Green indicator
Disconnected:
  • Account is not connected
  • Cannot send messages
  • Needs reconnection
  • Red indicator
Checking:
  • Health check in progress
  • Temporary status
  • Updates automatically

You can connect accounts using: Phone Authentication:
  • Enter phone number
  • Receive verification code
  • Enter code to verify
  • Optionally enter 2FA password
QR Code Authentication:
  • Generate QR code
  • Scan with Telegram app
  • Automatic authentication
  • Optionally enter 2FA password

Account Health

Health Checks

Reach automatically checks account health:
  • Regular health monitoring
  • Connection status verification
  • Automatic status updates
  • Health indicators

Manual Health Check

Test account connection:
  • Click “Test Connection” in account menu
  • Verifies account is working
  • Updates status immediately
  • Shows connection result

Health Status

Healthy:
  • Account is connected
  • Can send messages
  • No issues detected
Unhealthy:
  • Account is disconnected
  • Cannot send messages
  • Needs reconnection

Managing Accounts

View Accounts

See all connected accounts:
  • Account list with status
  • Search and filter
  • Health indicators
  • Quick actions

Reconnect Account

If account becomes disconnected:
  1. Click “Reconnect” button
  2. Follow authentication steps
  3. Re-authenticate account
  4. Account reconnects
Reconnecting preserves account settings but requires re-authentication.

Delete Account

Remove account from Reach:
  1. Click “Delete” in account menu
  2. Confirm deletion
  3. Account is removed
  4. Cannot send messages from this account
Deleting an account removes it from all campaigns using it. Make sure to update campaigns before deleting.

Rate Limits

Telegram enforces rate limits:
  • Messages per day
  • Messages per hour
  • Messages per minute
  • Varies by account age and usage

Multiple Accounts

Using Multiple Accounts

You can connect multiple accounts:
  • Distribute message load
  • Use different accounts for different campaigns
  • Backup accounts
  • Organization accounts

Account Selection

When creating campaigns:
  • Select which account to use
  • Each campaign uses one account
  • Can change account per campaign
  • Account must be connected

  1. Keep Connected: Monitor account health regularly
  2. Respect Limits: Stay within Telegram rate limits
  3. Use Multiple: Distribute load across accounts
  4. Monitor Status: Check connection status regularly

Troubleshooting

Account Disconnected

If account shows as disconnected:
  1. Check Telegram app is working
  2. Verify phone number is correct
  3. Try reconnecting account
  4. Check for Telegram service issues
  5. Contact support if needed

Cannot Add Account

If you cannot add an account:
  1. Verify phone number format
  2. Check internet connection
  3. Ensure Telegram is accessible
  4. Try QR code method instead
  5. Check for account limits

Health Check Fails

If health check fails:
  1. Verify account is still valid
  2. Check Telegram app status
  3. Try reconnecting account
